Aqua Guard Water Damage didn't parachute into Mentone with a rented truck and a stock script. Our technicians have worked this market long enough to know which neighborhoods sit low, which ones have older cast-iron plumbing, and which zip codes call in during every heavy storm.
Our Mentone dispatch desk is staffed around the clock by people, not an automated queue, which matters most at exactly the hour you're calling.
Homeowners dealing with a flood are stressed enough without technical jargon, so we train our crews to explain the process in plain terms from the first phone call.
Not every water problem announces itself with a flooded floor. Most start quietly, and catching one of these signs early is usually the difference between a same-day fix and a much bigger repair.
Fresh paint over an old stain can hide the problem visually for a month or two, right up until the drywall paper backing gives out.
A musty note that wasn't there a season ago usually means microbial growth has started somewhere behind a wall or under flooring, well before you can see anything.
A hollow sound from tile that used to sound solid usually means the mortar bed lost adhesion from sustained moisture underneath.
A sudden increase in usage with no change in household habits is often the earliest sign of a slab leak, well before any visible water shows up.
Bubbling paint near a baseboard or exterior wall usually means moisture is pushing through from behind rather than a simple application defect.
Mold that returns after a bleach cleaning is a sign the moisture source behind it was never actually addressed.
If more than one of these sounds familiar, it's worth a professional moisture check sooner rather than later.
Bouncing between an extraction company, a drying company, and a repair contractor is how small jobs turn into weeks-long headaches — we keep all three under one roof on purpose.
Every service below gets the same documentation standard, whether it's a single wet closet or a full commercial loss.
The first hour after a water loss decides how much of the structure is salvageable, which is why extraction is always the first truck-mount job, not an afterthought behind paperwork.
We don't call a structure dry based on a visual check — the moisture meter has the final say before equipment comes down.
Blackwater intrusions call for full PPE, controlled removal of porous materials that can't be sanitized, and hospital-grade disinfection before any reconstruction starts.
Antimicrobial treatment on studs, subfloor, and other porous surfaces happens during the drying phase, especially anywhere that stayed wet more than 48 hours.
Once moisture readings confirm the structure is dry, the same team that documented and dried the loss hands off directly into drywall, insulation, and flooring repair.
Specialized content cleaning often saves items that looked like a total loss at first glance, which keeps replacement costs off your claim.
Four steps, no guesswork — here's exactly what happens between your call and a verified-dry structure.
Real person, real questions, fast routing — the goal is getting a truck moving within minutes of hanging up.
Skipping or rushing this step is how hidden moisture pockets turn into a mold problem months down the line.
Extraction and drying run as one continuous process rather than two separate scheduled visits.
Every affected area gets re-tested before we call the job complete — no shortcuts on the sign-off.
None of these four things matter in isolation — it's the combination of licensing, speed, honest pricing, and a real guarantee that actually changes the outcome of a water emergency.
We'll show you the credentials before we show you the invoice, if that's what puts you at ease.
Regionally staged trucks mean a crew often arrives before a national chain's call center finishes the intake questionnaire.
We'd rather have the pricing conversation upfront than after the job's already underway.
Every job closes with a documented re-inspection, not a handshake and an invoice.
We'd rather run a dehumidifier an extra day on our dime than sign off on a reading we're not confident in.
This isn't marketing copy — it's the actual checklist our crews sign off against before a job is marked complete.
Call +1-844-578-1604Whether your address sits in 46539 or a neighboring zip, the same crew and the same response standard applies.
Coverage extends past the city core into the surrounding Mentone suburbs, so an outlying address isn't treated as a second-tier call.
"I've dealt with contractors before who talk a big game and disappear. The crew here in Mentone actually showed up on time and stayed in touch through the whole drying process."
Renee A., Mentone"A storm backed water into our finished basement and the crew classified it, extracted it, and had dehumidifiers running that same afternoon. The invoice matched the quote to the dollar."
Owen D., Mentone"They didn't cut corners on the sanitization step even though it clearly slowed them down — with two kids in the house, that mattered to us."
Fatima J., Mentone"Every cost question got a straight answer, even the awkward ones, which is more than I can say for the last two contractors I dealt with."
Lucas P., Mentone"We had a slow leak for weeks without noticing, and thermal imaging found moisture in a spot we never would have checked ourselves."
Grace T., Mentone"They sectioned off the wet area instead of shutting down the whole office during drying, which kept us operating almost normally."
Nathaniel W., Mentone"The technician explained exactly which boards needed to go and which tested dry enough to keep, so we didn't overpay for the repair."
Bianca H., Mentone"Storm runoff got into our crawl space and the smell alone told us something was wrong. They found a failed vapor barrier and fixed the actual cause during the same visit."
Derek S., Mentone"Our upstairs bathroom leaked into the kitchen ceiling below and the crew traced it back to a failed wax ring on the toilet, not just patched the visible ceiling stain."
Melissa C., Mentone"A dishwasher supply line failed while we were on vacation and came home to a soaked kitchen floor. They handled the extraction, drying, and coordination with our property manager without us having to fly back early."
Victor N., Mentone
